Are there two populations of patients considered for EVAR, those fit for open repair and those unfit? Is there ever more evidence that the fitness of the patient is of crucial importance in the decision-making? Are trial results pointing toward EVAR being of poor or even no benefit in the very sick patients?

What are the limited European launch results that followed on the conclusion of a 10-patient clinical study? Is the clinical utility of EndoRefix to serve as an adjunctive procedure to endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysms stent-graft repair? Will Medtronic improve the proximal fixation of the Aneurx stent-graft with the technology?
